Put simply, a ship's propulsion system consists of two parts. The above-waterline transmission is in the engine room; propellor and housing are under water. The point at which they conect requires maximum tightness which calls for unbelievable precision. Tolerances - even on an 80 tonne giant - are in the region of thousandths of millimeters.
We train our new crew mates with the same precision, attention to detail and passion with which we develop our ship propulsion systems! Whether you decide to chart a business or technical course, you will benefit from excellent training, recognised throughout the industry, which will make you fit for “Industry 4.0“.
